had troubles online on the nhs app called the GP snd they got me an appointment instantly!
Sarah was a lovely nurse and made me feel very comfortable!
Bring back the walk-in appointments! I’ve got a lot of pain and am unsure if an injury has become infected. Since I messaged a nurse thinking I could send an image for an answer or attend a walk-in for urgent help (even with a multi-hour wait due to pain in eating, drinking, talking and sleeping).
But no, they said to phone up anyway, we’re no help via messaging the practice.
I know the state of the NHS is shockingly underfunded but taking away walk-ins is the poorest decision this practice has made turning a good, helpful and reliable practice I recommended to all into one I would say try to move on from as it cannot be relied upon.
Additionally, reception staff are getting more aggressive to people in pain by the minute it seems.
Everything completely excellent, as usual, where ‘as usual’ means for the last thirty nine years.
Rachel was the best nurse I’ve seen in a GP. She was kind and proactive whilst also making sure that I was always comfortable. She made my experience at the GP very positive.
University Of Sussex Health Centre was awarded the iWantGreatCare certificate of excellence in 2024 for delivering outstanding care.
